If you have a struggling blog you will notice that one of the main reasons why it is struggling is because you have no traffic or not enough traffic. So many times new Internet marketers get sucked into all of the hype where they feel yes! If I get a blog and put a few articles and banners and AdSense on it I will begin to make money. Wrong, more times then not this is not the case. A blog takes time, it's almost like a local newspaper. You need to have readers, with no readers you will make no money. You will have no one to buy, you will have no one to see advertisements you will make no money.
The one way that you are going to get readers and buyers is to update constantly and I mean on the daily. Think about it this way. Does you local newspaper print one paper a week and expect you to still buy a daily subscription? No, they print on the daily with new news. This is how your blog has to be. You have to make it the hot spot blog in whatever market you are in and dominate the rest with updating fresh free content. Then once you start to build the traffic you get the money by offering products and advertisements. So how do you get more traffic? You post daily, that how. Posting 4-5 times a day would be nice to start.
